Transferring Members

Transferring into JLSC

The Junior League of  the Space Coast warmly welcomes Association of Junior League International members transferring to Brevard County from Leagues around the world! To transfer to The Junior League of the Space Coast, you must notify your CURRENT or home League. The procedure varies by League, so check your current League’s website.

  1. Your current League will initiate the transfer process.
  2. Complete the Membership Transfer Application (Button Below)
  3. Once the JLSC is notified, we will email you a welcome letter. Once we receive your forms and transfer fee, you will be added to the JLSC membership roster, and the VP of Membership will contact you.

We look forward to welcoming you!

Transfer Application

Transferring out of JLSC

If you are moving to a new community, or find you work or live closer to another Junior League and wish to transfer your membership, notify the VP of Membership and P&N Director in writing that they wish to transfer their membership to the specific league they wish to transfer to. Only those members who are in good standing and current on their JLSC dues and other financial obligations are eligible for transfer.

It is advisable to visit the web site of the league you wish to transfer to, and learn about their transfer policies, as some leagues limit the number of transfers and others may have different membership requirements and obligations.

Resigning Membership in the JLSC

If, for any reason, you find you are unable to continue your membership in the Junior League of the Space Coast you can resign in good standing and rejoin at any time when circumstances allow. Please see the JLSC policies for more information on being “in good standing.” Resignation shall be made in writing to the VP of Membership or Placement & Nominating Director before March 1; otherwise, a member shall be liable for dues for the coming year (JLSC Policy 4.4)

We would also ask that you fill out this Exit survey to better help us evaluate our programs.
