FOT Donation Items
We are currently seeking donations for Trees, Wreaths, and Raffle items!
Festival of Trees would not be possible without the incredible talents and generous donations of our creative tree and wreath designers. Your participation helps support the Junior League of the Space Coast’s community projects; and it is a wonderful way to gain visibility and showcase your artistic talent or business to the community!
We are looking for creative individuals, groups, organizations, and companies to design holiday trees or wreaths for our 39th Annual Festival of Trees fundraiser. Tree and wreath creations are considered a donation to the Festival of Trees. The Junior League of the Space Coast will price each design for public bidding. - What kinds of designs are you looking for?
We are looking for Designer Trees (6’-9’ in height, 40”-50” in diameter), Tabletop Trees (2-4’ in height), and Wreaths.
- When can I drop off my donated tree, wreath, or raffle item?
You can drop off or decorate your designer tree or wreath at the following times:
Thursday, November 3rd from 5:00PM-9:00PM
Friday, November 4th from 9:00AM-3:00PM
For raffle items, you can mail them to the JLSC office or coordinate [email protected] to organize a pickup.
- Is there an approval process?
Junior League of the Space Coast Festival of Trees Chairs must approve all tree submissions.
- How does the public bid on the designs?
Tree and wreath designs will be available for online bidding by silent auction. Junior League volunteers will be available to support online bidding in person from ipads at Festival of Trees.
- Where do proceeds from my donation go?
Proceeds from Festival of Trees will help support the Junior League of the Space Coast.
Designer Tree Guidelines
- Designer must provide their own tree.
- Designer must provide extension cord if tree is lit.
- Designer must provide tree skirt.
- All ornaments or objects of design must be attached to tree with wire or glue.
- All items on and under the tree must be non-flammable or treated with non-flammable spray.
- Lights must be UL approved. Replacement bulbs provided by the Designer for the duration of the FOT.
- Each Designer Tree will be displayed at all times, with a placard provided by the JLSC, designating the following where applicable: Designer, Donor, Theme, and Purchaser (if applicable).
- Trees should have a holiday theme. Please do not incorporate controversial themes, your business logo, name, etc. within the body of your work. Marketing materials may be displayed with your tree, but you must provide all materials and holders.
Signature Tree & Holiday Tabletop Display Guidelines
- Designer must provide extension cord if tree is lit.
- Tree base must be attached to a vase, pot or container and Designer must provide tree skirt.
- All ornaments or objects of design must be attached to tree with wire or glue.
- All items on and under the display must be non-flammable or treated with non-flammable spray.
- Lights must be UL approved. Replacement bulbs provided by the Designer for the duration of the FOT.
- Each Signature Tree or Tabletop Display will be displayed at all times, with a placard provided by the JLSC, designating the following where applicable: Designer, Donor, Theme, and Purchaser (if applicable)
- Please do not incorporate your business logo, name, etc. within the body of your work. Marketing materials may be displayed with your tree, but you must provide all materials and holders.
Wreath Guidelines
- Wreaths must be provided by Designer. Consider decorating matching wreaths for double doors!
- Designer must provide extension cord if wreath is lit.
- All ornaments or objects of design must be attached to wreath with wire or glue.
- All items on the wreath must be non-flammable or treated with non-flammable spray.
- Lights must be UL approved. Replacement bulbs provided by the Designer for the duration of the FOT.
- Each wreath will be displayed at all times, with a placard provided by the JLSC, designating the following where applicable: Designer, Donor, Theme, and Purchaser (if applicable).
- Please do not incorporate your business logo, name, etc. within the body of your work. Marketing materials may be displayed with your wreath, but you must provide all materials and holders.
